Jahlil Beats Declares Meek Mill's 'DWMTM' Album of the Year (Video)

It looks like Meek Mill's "Monster" will be a sign of things to come once Dreams Worth From More Than Money arrives, because if Jahlil Beats is right, fans should expect nothing but a monster.

"Despite anybody coming out, Meek got album of the year. Straight classic," declared Meek's go-to producer.

Jahlil, whose been rocking with Meek since the Flamerz days ("Rosé Red," "Make 'Em Say"), told REVOLT the upcoming album will be one for the books.

"Really, we the only young dudes on the East Coast giving that real street music. You hear them “I’ma Boss’,” you hear the “Monster” record, you hear the “Burn” record, we giving that new sound to the East," he added. "We the only one left right now."

DWMTM is already backed by the singles "Monster" and "B Boy," with the latter climbing onto a top 50 spot on the Billboard Digital Songs chart. Meek is also gearing up a summer tour alongside his lady, Nicki Minaj for the North American leg of the Pinkprint Tour.

Jahlil Beats didn't get into specifics about his contributions to the album, but he did confirm that there's about "four, five joints" with his name on it. He also wasn't shy about the next statement: "[The album's] a classic... it’s a classic for real.”

"Monster" and "B Boy" are available now on iTunes.
